WELP. Got the betta some guppy grass and two ramshorn snails (to clean up the gravel) after work today. I just looked in again and found THREE baby snail hitchhikers… it’s gonna be snail city in there apparently! 🐌

Circled in red are the two snails that I got on purpose.

Circles in red are the tiny baby freeloaders that hitched a ride on the plant. I guess we’ll find out eventually what kind of snails they are!

Just received the FIRST email that my transit card will be deactivated because they killed the program. It came in after 5pm today (Thursday) and it deactivates July 1st, next Wednesday—less than a week’s notice. Real trash.

Thinking about the 1992 masterpiece TOYS and how much I was obsessed with it as a kid and how gorgeously surreal it is.

A yellow bedroom seemingly floating within a room that looks like a vivid blue clouded sky. There’s an enormous bird shaped cover that drops from the ceiling to enclose the bed.

Robin Williams and another actor on a colorful golf cart. The floor is severely wavy with little hills and covered in astroturf, the walls painted blue with white clouds. A man stops them holding up a “Ducks Crossing” sign while a toy duck family crosses the hallway.

Our tv was color but I’ve tried to describe the switchboard to people and they always looked at me with blank confusion. Lo and behold I found documentary evidence.
