Shhhhh
@doress
“Tell us a bit about yourself” Yeah, I’m spectacularly shit at that. I like cats and British crime shows and knitting and ghost stories and also GO DUCKS 🏈 No follow farmers, don’t bother asking. If I like you, I’ll follow.
Making some socks. It’s way too hot for both this and the rainbow cardigan I’m in the middle of
I also had a playdate last night. My neighbor’s young chicken jumped the fence and hung out with my girls. I think she may have broken the broody out of my two hens. She insisted on snuggling and they didn’t know what to do. This AM they are off the nests even though we gave the baby back last night
I don’t have a picture of the project, but here is the pattern under my cat. Projects that require zero cats…
This old man just turned 15 this month. Last week I found a suspicious lump on his face/neck. Incredibly grateful that it turned out to be a benign cyst. Never had a cat live beyond 15 and he’s already living with reduced kidney function so I will love the shit out of him a little while longer
It’s her self-defense mechanism. She chooses violence at almost every turn. And then wants snuggles
This darling little girl has pooped on my bathroom floor next to the litter box every day for the last four years. She’s lucky she’s cute
About to start the tassel on my first, to send to family in MN. I happened to have a red hat double brim in 1x1 rib already on my needles so very easy to pivot and extra warm on the ears. You betcha I have my next ready to go
Katsu does that. He nibbles until he decides he is sufficiently pet for the moment.
Chickens are simultaneously smarter and dumber than you give them credit for. Everything wants to eat them. But they’re great 😊
That’s my cat who shits next to the box every damn day. She’s lucky she’s cute.
Up until a couple of years ago, this was the post-dinner activity for us. My aunt and uncle have since retired from draft horses but this was so much fun. Of course it was less fun when it was -20. Yay MN winters! We’d pull kids on sleds and adults on skis behind the sleigh if they wanted a go.
