Cold outreachers are hell, being in a role where I can select software vendors is hell, I am in hell. While I like the work I do, this is the most miserable my ecosystem has ever been, and I would trade it all for 2015 in a split second.

Recently I've been enjoying responding to the "fishing for wrong names" scammers by earnestly pretending they have found precisely the right person- cutting them off from the "Oh I must have the wrong number, don't you remember me from the party?" turn. Example below:

Saw an interesting item on the menu at Vice and had to try it… Buffalo Chicken Wing martini! Blue cheese, Frank’s hot sauce, celery! I couldn’t envision it being good, but I was pleasantly surprised at the execution- not what I expected and in fact it totally works!!
