Big boy! Handbuilt vase approx 35 centimetres tall. Classic vase shape with a band of pattern around the middle. The vase has been glazed in two colours.

Devon charity shops have been EXCELLENT for thread! Had to resort the stash I brought down with me- I'd say about a quarter of this is probably new - mostly at 50p per skein. #Embroidery #Cross-stitch #Crafting #Thread #Floss #Devon #Charity

What a difference backstitch makes! #Cross-stitch #Sewing #Embroidery #Birds #Kingfisher

A small cross-stitch hoop with a brightly coloured Kingfisher stitched on. It is very pixilated as there is no back stitch yet.

The same kingfisher cross-stitch with black, white, blue and orange outlining and detailing done in backstitch. This has reduced the pixilated effect massively.
