Retired Anaesthetist & covid vaccinator. Still have IT role in NHS and in Day Surgery Internationally. Proud Scot, support independence. Long Covid urgently needs research. Brexit is a disaster. Recently caught cycling bug - carbon frames are amazing.
At last a block that I at least understand - though sadly she doesn't want to discuss.
Hi @keeprising.bsky.social I notice I cannot reply or quote post this post of yours. I have seen cattle do this many times esp. in Scotland when we let the cattle out into fields after winter in the byre. Your claim seems strange as none have really developed udders and some defo ain't female!
Update on the leak. Found the culprit! Exhibition A - culprit in on the right a fitting that no way matched the diameter of the waste pipe fitting. On left is the replacement I bought and fitted. Still debating if I will claim on insurance as I will do most of the work!
Toilet out woodwork facia removed and now drying it out before assessing extent of damage.
Grandad feeding grandson.......sigh, wasn't like this in my day as a parent! Need hazmat suit to put him in the bath!
Seen James Taylor many times over the years, never regret attending one of his concerts. Amazing for his age and a truly brilliant night.
Sending you positive vibes Giada, you are a star and I have never regretted following you. I looked for a photo that lifts me every time I see it and this is one of mine. Taken at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. I love Puffins - hope this works. Sending hugs.
Check out my ride! Recorded with Cadence getcadence.app. Needed to get some hills in as only few weeks to the Brewdog Rideout. Then only 4 after that fir the big one, Tour O the Borders.
Visiting my sister up in Scotland. Much better temperature for my ride out today.
Arrived and it's cloudy and raining. Fleece on but lovely, fresh and cool!
Time for a scone and a cuppa en route to NE Scotland.
Nice ride out on the bike today. Got back just as was getting too hot.
Off course years later my Mum had to go one better having an R32 and then a Type R Golf.
This was my last Golf GTI it had a performance engine upgrade by GTI Engineering at Silverstone. Sadly was stolen from my driveway in Newcastle.
It is 50 years since the Golf GTI was introduced - I bought my first one from Hawco's in Inverness in 1981. It was Mars red and sadly I have no photos of it. This was my second one - just amazing how small they were compared to modern cars.
Same for me - learned about it in Med School. Started wondering about longevity of vaccine - appears we might need to consider further vaccination when travelling!
My final International lecture was on the safe implementation of healthcare IT software. Proud to announce that I was part of a fantastic team that just completed one of the smoothest go-lives of Nervecentre across all our hospital sites. Just look at the mileage our floorwalkers covered!
That's me done. Final international presentation done and seemed to go well.
Humbling to see the shear numbers of patients and surgeries completed in China.
