Once again, the lighting in Ottawa looks horrible on TV. Winnipeg's blue doesn't was put so it looks monochrome like Sask's green but the field is greyed out by reflection and the REDBLACKS jerseys look like they're vantablack and disappear like a black hole.

I've seen a new dumbest thing. An admin of a CFL Facebook page arguing that the ratio was proven bad because BC had to fit another Canadian in to their roster because Rourke went down. At least he didn't say that was why they lost, but wow.

OK, here's the crazy. Former MOP nom, Ticat legend? Jeremiah Masoli. He's not the future of the team but this could be the wild swing of a guy who could be more than a placeholder. He's been capable, done the job, can he do one last hurrah? He doesn't seem like a Milanovich type though...
Signing another young backup is thin. Jarret Doege, Max Duggan, Shea Patterson, Tyrie Adams... Not likely more than a placeholder at this point behind Dolegala or Ford. Of these guys, I'd lean towards Patterson or Tyrie Adams (who was an incomplete TD away from NAL arena FB champ on June 21).
Tre Ford went from being the guy taking over at QB and leading some positive (but too late) improvements twice in Edmonton to having the script flipped on him last year. My biggest 🚩 was he didn't touch the ball again after. with EDM's starter, Fajardo doing short yardage. With his athleticism?🚩

I was listening to @podskeeweewee.bsky.social 's podcast following Sunday's game... it was bleak. I wanted to put out a couple thoughts for possible options (some crazy) going forward for Hamilton after Bo Levi Mitchell's injury. Firstly, none are as good as "Peak Bo", which we've had this season.
Looks like 16 there. A couple in Hamilton and Ottawa, 1 in Kitchener. Heading out to Chatham and Amherstburg via London this summer and I won't be near any of them. We have surprisingly few national businesses in Canada that are actually national, not international.

I had gotten a gift set of them with an online order. It's funny, I'm near their shop in Saskatoon often for work. Great company!
Fired up the smoker today for some drumsticks. The hands down favourite? @rampagecoffee Poultry Perfection (darker drummies at the bottom of the photo). Great flavour! Other drummies done up with lemon pepper and Buffalo Rub. Smoked about 2 hours with mesquite and hickory chips.
