What am I interested in? F1, music, weed, movies, catz, dawgs, weather, beers, comedy, computer tech, et al. Very much 🇨🇦
Canada is on fire and our politicians are building more oil and gas infrastructure. Every single one of these demons need to be removed.
Canada is on fire and you’re running around with a gas can. Holy shit do I regret voting for you.
I’m ever so happy you are expanding oil and gas to make wildfires more accessible. I’ve always wanted to live in a polluted dystopia.
There’s a really pleasant, but out of her mind woman, who lives in this building. In the 6 weeks I’ve lived here, she’s had loads of potted plants sitting outside in her “garden”, but only planted one of them. Plenty of other potted plants dried up and she threw away.
Living in subsidized housing has been interesting. At least once a week, I find someone passed out in the hallway, usually with loads of tinfoil around them. I called 911 on this guy. He apparently woke up & walked out.
Something neat the KDE desktop does in Linux, is if you lose the mouse, just waggle it around and it will get bigger so that you can find it. That’s an excellent usability feature!
Oooh! Looks like #LndOnt is going to get a nice little thunderstorm in a short while. 🥰🌩️⛈️⛈️
I was foolish tonight. After trivia, I went to karaoke at Joe Kool’s. Did a deep early 80’s cut - “Mexican Radio” by Walls of Voodoo. The other middle aged guys like it. The college girls were WTF?
I loves me some mackeral tabbies 😻 My current kitties are amazing in their own ways, but my dearly departed Doug the Cat was a teddy bear in kitties clothing.
Riley earning her keep by hauling the wagon with her dog food back to our apartment.
Pylon! What are you doing up there? You aren’t supposed to be there! #LndOnt
Just Woody here, exposing himself while I try to watch a YouTube video. #Caturday #Satisfactory
Where we are now, is the first time Riley has experienced an elevator. I often wonder what she thinks about the process. We go into this small room, it vibrates a bit and makes some Bing noises, then we show up in a different place.
Back in the 1990’s, I would submit a job to the VAX computer and then sort the output from the printers. Now I submit a command to Claude and I wait for the output. Oh. And the world burns. Claude and I did have a good talk.
I mean, sometimes it takes a while for your agent to get the National Electrical Code”, when Canada provides it as a single PDF.
When I started full time in IT, I was doing a lot of computer operator work. Feeding commands into a mainframe and waiting for the output. My “Vibe coding” experiments are similar, in terms of waiting for the job to finish.
The storm has eased off. The wind is down. And the rain puddling up inside my vestibule is kind of amazing.
There’s a tornado alert, storms in the area and the wind is remarkably quiet. 🧐
I’ve only just get my excel sheet, the NEC and CEC guidelines into the project, and WOW I’m filled with details. Some details, I hadn’t considered, because I’m not an electrical engineer. Just reading the PROJECT_CONTEXT.md file has been eye opening.
Oh man, I was thirsty and wanted something fizzy on my tongue. Lo and behold -Pop Shoppe Black Cherry! Oh damn, does it still taste delicious.
I’ve been “vibe coding” This is my 2nd project. A fork of bpytop that includes memory graphs for what ZFS is up to.
I gave one prompt to Claude for the program it’s been helping me make and I expended all my free AI tokens.
My dog, Riley, will only play fetch for maybe 3 throws. Then she’s like “What the hell? You go get it. I’m going over here to sniff something” 😝
Well wasn’t that serendipitous. Moments after posting that and taking some more artificial tears - I felt the grain of whatever come out of my eye. I wanted to get a hold of it, but it disconnected from my finger. But I did feel it on my finger.
