Snagged a couple new Trek books from one of our favorite local comic shops!! Still loving The Last Starship, can’t wait to check out this issue, but also incredibly stoked for some more Starfleet Academy given its unfortunate cancellation.
Just downloaded WEBTOON and read the first episode of the new Trek story, STARGAZERS, from @jarrettmelendez.bsky.social We’ve been fans for so long now and it’s delightful to be surprised by Star Trek playing in these unique sandboxes. Truly can’t wait to read more!
Oh hell yes! Just got the physical edition of issue 4 of one of our favorite indie Trek webcomics! If you haven’t checked out Star Trek: M33 it’s a real fun blending of Trek aesthetics and vibes with some truly alien cosmic horror. Can’t wait to dive into this new one!

Started ROGUE ELEMENTS from @farawaypress.com (great so far!). It's a staunch reminder that Rios deserved way better than what he got at the end of PIC season 2. A Captain Rios/Stargazer show would have been 🔥🔥🔥 Headcanon: Guinan's 'died in a bar fight' story is just a cover & he's still out there!
Recently snagged all 19 issues of Marvel’s Starfleet Academy comic series from 1996 to pair with the new show. Very different vibes from the new series, but incredibly fun & delightfully stuffed with 90s cheese. Also, Nog!! #StarfleetAcademy
Catching up w/Starfleet Academy—we've been enjoying so far, but “Vox in Excelso” feels like the first really great episode. Amazing range and development for the character of Jay-Den Kraag, & an overall really clever use of the school setting to tell a rich, classic Trek-esque moral debate story.
A little late in catching up on some of these, but the real winners for Star Trek in 2025 seem to be some of the mixed media offerings. Not to diminish the work that went into SNW or Section 31, but The Last Starship & Khan are truly remarkable. Also, Trek logos across the board are 🔥 🔥 🔥
Been seeing this going around lately. Another banger line from JLP, specifically from STAR TREK: INSURRECTION. The context was about a forced relocation, but the sentiment is broadly applicable. Where do we draw the line? To quote JLP once more: "The line must be drawn here! This far, no further!"

In the past I’ve made blue, green, and even purple drinks to mark the occasion, but this time I tried my hand at yellow. It was a modified “Yellow Bird” that was a bit more pineapple forward. Turned out quite tasty 😋
New Star Trek is essentially a holiday in our home, something we always look forward too. Unfortunately, where we live—the Twin Cities—is hurting right now as a direct result of the aggressive ICE presence in our community. Before taking Trek, we’ve gotta take a moment to say #AbolishICE.

Absolutely loving the gnarly cover art for these issues of Star Trek: Red Shirts. Props to Christopher Cantwell & Megan Levans for putting together a really cool and unique Star Trek comic with this series so far. Lots of fresh ideas that never shy away from brutality & intensity!
Watched the 1st ep. with the kiddos. Super short & cute. The Star Trek guitar riff theme slaps! Our 3-year-old was giggling throughout; the 7-year-old, in the other hand said, “I think Prodigy is more for me” 😂 This is definitely one for the littles, but it’s fun! Love Bubbles the Targ 💜
As for “Four-and-a-half Vulcans” …easily the weakest of the series. Criticisms are 100% valid. One positive, though: thought Patton Oswalt’s Doug was a nice subversion of some of the mono-cultural Vulcan portrayals we often see in Trek; not arrogant, interested in differences & genuinely friendly!
Catching up on SNW…overall really liked “What is Starfleet.” Felt like one of the better episodes of the season; some good drama and fun concepts that felt actually sci-fi. LOVED the Jikaru. Always on board for large, space-faring creatures and new species.
