#5DebutAlbumsSF2 #musicchallenge I haven't paid too much attention to this debut in the past but seeing Split Enz recently has made me revisit quite a bit of the Split Enz and Crowded House catalogue. Great mature songwriting with some classics thrown in.

#5debutalbums9599 #nowplaying Embrace - The Good Will Out I was a big fan of this when it came out. Had some big anthems sitting somewhere between Oasis and Urban Hymns era The Verve. Quite enjoying the relisten.
#5debutalbums9599 Ash - 1977 This was on high rotation in the months before I went to Uni. A lot of stuff here really did seem to sum up how I was feeling at the time. A likely top 5 for me.

#5debutalbums9599 #nowplaying Mansun - Attack Of The Grey Lantern Very different to other big 97 albums like Be Here Now and Urban Hymns, this owed more of a debt to 80s pop like TFF with a bit of prog thrown in. One of the most exciting bands of the period.
