I recently read Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke, and despite its good reviews, I unfortunately didn't think much of it. The pacing was weird, and the descriptions of the characters were lacklustre. Things happened in the story way too quickly and just left me feeling a bit... Flat. Spoilers:
