Material Maker is very nice and easy to use. I've never made a PBR material from scratch before, but the nodes provided make it seem intuitive to start. Looking forward to authoring interesting-feeling textures with autistic precision. Gotta figure out UV mapping to a sphere (to avoid pinch) now.

Shoutouts to the time I was using an API that allowed indirect drawing with a vertex buffer but not an index buffer, so I rendered a tessellated plane as a line strip where vertices were stored in Hilbert order so I could use a space filling curve to pretend like I had a solid plane.

The wolves in Crimson Desert are so good at twerking they can do it even while dead. The cloth physics in this game are rather stable and appropriately stiff, so I guess whoever was authoring wolf butts simply forgot to add damping or something.
