Just finished Spider-man 2!!! Holy shit!! Loved it!! Some cool ways integrating all the different bits of lore that exists in the comics! And swinging around New York continues to be a joy!! RIP Tony Todd! Also, I think this civilian character is referencing Peter’s outfit from the MTV show?!

Well lookie here!! My first episode of Ariel is up on Disney Plus!! It’s called Detective Flounder and was the best first episode I could’ve asked for!!
Did a gnarly drawing today. Seeing a couple of horror movies, so I’m in a horror kinda mood.
The first 3 seasons are my all-time favourite show! Season 4 was pretty good too.
If I had a nickel for every episode I got to direct being turned into kids books, I'd have 2!!!! And it's awesome every time!

This one’s my favourite. I wanted to show that grown up Kai remembers the lessons taught by everyone at the temple, even Dee. I imagined a little scenario of Bell being like, “That’s a lot of droids…” and Kai noticing a potted plant going, “I know just the trick!” #YoungJediAdventures #MayThe4th
Nubs needed to pantomime a story, and so I had him act out my favourite villain in the whole show, Bulcha the Hutt. Our team worked on all 3 of the Bulcha episodes. So I needed to figure out how to include him! #YoungJediAdventures #MayThe4th
This was the catalyst for this idea of doing these homages. I wanted to reconnect Kai to Bell in this moment of triumph. Bell was teaching Kai control when playing fetch, but Kai also remembers the inverse; that he can also throw things really far far away. #YoungJediAdventures #MayThe4th
This part I changed the least, it was pretty much boarded this way. I did get the animator(Edgar Ocaranza) who did the trash compactor scene to add the grappling hook going around a couple of times so it was closer in timing and energy to the original. #YoungJediAdventures #MayThe4th
Nothing like a good bashing the remote to make it work! I grew up with a big clunky TV, and towards the end its life, this became the ritual of making the remote work. So may muscle memory has never forgotten! (Even if the remote here isn’t actually broken, 😜) #YoungJediAdventures
Same here, we always do the driving sound effects. It’s important to the art! Also, Jason Mantzoukas’s voice was so perfect for Bulcha, and really helped the animators’ performances. (Cause listening to these clips, Jason Mantzoukas I ain’t, lol!) #YoungJediAdventures
Sometimes we have to act out inanimate objects, like lasers and robot arms. I didn’t have my headset on(so no microphone), but rest assured here that I was doing the sound effects with my mouth! (I think both arm servos and laser blast!) #YoungJediAdventures
It feels really cool that I got a whole trilogy of Bulcha episodes(almost as cool as the snow planet Andraven! 😜) Also any Raxlo episode is going to be a fun time, so this was double fun! #YoungJediAdventures
