Today, brain went "nope". I've had *a lot* to think about for quite a while - as of Friday, I've now legally bought my first house. Entirely solo. Pick up the keys in <2 weeks. Still lots to do, decisions to make. Yet more expense. Need a no brain day today. Having one. No choice.
Urgh, modern software dev is no fun. At least, modern Vue with php. I'm adding one simple new field to two models, and displaying it in 3 places. And renamed one other variable, as it's set to a different value in the backend. Had to change 32 files.
Another one: "Ok, hands looks good... oh wait, 3 toes on one foot, 4 on the other"
Trying a new thing to exercise my idea generation muscle. Come up with at least 10 ideas daily, anything, doesn't even have to be realistic or actionable. My brain: "What's an... 'ideeear'?" #HeadEmpty
Gah, today has been a real mess 😒 Early trip to car garage for new wheel needed to pass MOT (expires Sat). Wrong wheel delivered. Had to find another company + book emergency refurb of existing wheel on Thurs, then finish MOT Fri. Got home. Screwed up our weekly software update. Twice. I'm done.
Thought I'd do something a bit different tonight - a full effort "prosthetic" makeup test for a MK1 inspired Noob Saibot cosplay. I do want to make the cowl and armour but that's a long way away. I'd definitely do some things differently (with different lenses), but it's not bad a for a first try!
I can't see the artistic forms I'm getting wrong. It looks like a fine... critter. It's just not a raptor, and I'm not sure what I need to change to make it look right. I'm generally fine technically, but I do sometimes struggle artistically, and this is a perfect example of that.
I'm currently trying to build a new raptor head in Blender that's a bit more expressive (for VRC and a mask), using my Telegram stickers as inspiration (a selection below)... and I'm getting frustrated. It just doesn't look raptory, and I don't know why.
It's too big and expensive for me unfortunately! But wow, what a find 😛 (shame he's a bit ugly)
I've been sleeping unusually badly for about a week. I don't have anything obvious on my mind, but I'm struggling to fully relax, and stay asleep. I'm not sure why. I don't have any obvious new major anxieties... Tired.
Weird.... For every image, even the ones with thumbnails that render tapping on them opens an empty nothing. I've tried reinstalling the app. Oh well...

Now for something a bit more fun, finally - v2 fox! In many ways, this is much better than my previous one. But in some ways, it's worse, and there's still areas I'm unhappy with. Still, a good learning experience. I will make another head on this system, but I'm not 100% sure what yet...

I've just noticed my cake of Mehron greasepaint has a typo on the label... I wonder if that means it's counterfeit? I did get it from Amazon after all...
Making a huge mess, and I'm not even doing anything big. I just have no useful workspace. And I have to tidy all of it up at the end of the day, as it's filling my bedroom and office. This should be fun, right? *grumps*

Risking it. Slightly scared. I loved this book, but I'm concerned I can't immerse myself in novels any more.
