Developer of Iron Lung, Dusk, Squirrel Stapler, Butcher's Creek, and other games. Making an isometric shooter called B.U.G.B.I.T.E
Not only have I implemented magnetism into B.U.G.B.I.T.E, but I had to make electromagnets get shorted out if they get water on them. There is literally zero reason for this to be in the game. B.U.G.B.I.T.E is a isometric twin stick shooter. I am letting brainrot take the reigns.
Many thanks to @retrospacegame.bsky.social for featuring what appears to be a even more space age-ified Whitney Wolverine, which is one of my favorite vintage guns.
Map is nice too, it just needed more triangulation Miasmata remains undefeated in map gameplay
This genuinely is one of the best inventories in anything. The concept is simple, but it manages to both have a lot of character and be super usable and painless at the same time, and it's really hard to get both those things right. The little sound effects when you mouse over stuff are 10/10
The Pine Fell water plant is my happy place (Also cubemap reflections sometimes result in unintentional sight gags)
Shots of cool looking windows from Infra, just because I feel like posting them. The common Source mapping practice of "exterior is bright white" is so simple but ends up looking so good.
Game is kinda peaceful and chill when the cannibals aren't trying to kill you
Do you guys remember when Serious Sam had a pump action shotgun, and Croteam was like "naw, we don't need the pump action part to animate"
I'm playing The Forest for the first time. Currently the game and I are having a disagreement about what constitutes a leaf.
Mario when he's disappointed that his airplane arson plan isn't working out as expected
Darkmoor is my favorite land in Epic Universe, and I especially like the burning windmill. Disappointed that it doesn't get rid of any poison swamps though!
Been working on B.U.G.B.I.T.E for more than a year now but I still haven't actually announced it, explained it to people, put up a Steam page, set a release date, or for that matter started on finished level content. I dunno if I'm cooking or becoming cooked.
New and trending accidentally being an insightful deconstruction of the millennial subconscious
This really is one of the coolest concepts for a level in like forever. Also it's really funny how they can get away with just clipping meshes together everywhere.
