Also, I think it *might* be possible to integrate a new rebate-ready battery with the PW2, based on the Sigenergy training I did. It's a bit clunky, and you'd need a keen installer to commission it properly... but I don't see anything fundamental there.

Sounds like their solution is that as long as your system is commissioned (switched on) after July 1, you'll still be eligible.
