I've been trying this Sichuan peppercorn oil recently. Just adding a teaspoon of it to a sauce, dressing or dip. There is a very light heat to it but it more so hits you with the numbing effect of the Sichuan peppercorns are known for.

They've eloquently expressed the problems that have stemmed from the commercialisation of sub cultures and youth cultures. This is only a hot take to those who wear cultures as costumes. This mentality was pushed in the 00s. But has been actively performed since those subcultures have formed.

Bartender is an interesting collection of stories that wraps around the romanticism of alcoholic drinks. Honestly the series helped me reach a healthy mental understanding with alcohol. Binge drinking in the uni years to trying different drinks to simply only drinking when I want to taste a drink.

First time getting Dice a Million to bug out! I think it was something to do with the boss Dusty explosive passive and Author die being triggered by the Tesseract die. It went on like this for a few minutes before I closed the game and restarted. I didn't use Tesseract to avoid repeating this.

Family dinner for my newest nephews 100 day celebration. I got to hold him earlier too. Due to internal family politics I was on the table with the most kids. It was exhausting but also interesting to update the family notes.

Been playing @runedicegame.bsky.social #indiegame demo the past couple of weeks and there's a lot to do. In terms of roguelikes it's a deck builder akin to Slay the Spire. Highly recommend giving it a try as it feels easy going, fun to learn and, forgiving in the way you learn.

To the right of this lists the dice collected. Each dice colour represents it's tier. Lowest to highest tier goes white, yellow, green, blue, purple. There are higher tiers but they are not listed. The dice are poison, dodge, blind strike, heal and, poison.

Relics are assortment passive items you collect during a run. In this run I collected in this order:

Evasive Maneuvers - if you merge evasion dodge dice of tier 3 (green) or higher it adds an extra stack.
Triumph Elixer - heals you for 10hp after you finish a fight.
Chaotic Evasion - blind strike die also gives you 1 dodge stack after you do the damage.
Mercy Roll - Gain an extra dice to roll if you did merge a dice. Once per turn.
Phantom Strike - All your direct attacks gain +1 damage for each dodge stack you have.
Persistent Venom - Poison stacks never decrease over time
Venomous Essence - 25% chance you're throwing dice will be a poison die.
Trident Blessing - Merged dice ignore enemy magnetism and only attract friendly dice.
Singular Focus - duplicates the effects of the dice if only 1 die is merged.

Below this listed the enemies I killed in the run and how many I killed from the left top left it lists the final boss, the 3 sub bosses and then the regular enemies. At the end it lists a mimic which is an added bonus chance.

Went out for into the city and treated myself. Tried the chicken biscuit place in the city and tried out a Palestine pop for the first time. Also picked up some Insomnia cookies for my niece and nephews for Easter weekend. Guess which was more expensive cookies or lunch?

😭😭😭I finally hit NenInf in the main release of Dice A Million #Indiegame #Roguelike. It only took me 113hrs😅. Highly recommend people give the challenge runs a try. I in fact reached NenInf through the Ringless challenge. It's such a fun challenge.

The Greatest Estate Developer was such a fantastic Manhwa/Webtoon. The story was an emotional journey with an incredibly satisfying ending. The artwork is absolutely incredible from character expressions to artistic design. Thank you to @afroduckling.com for recommending this series to me last year.

This was a great insight from @chetsucks.com on why some #Gamedevs don't create xbox version of their game. I didn't know the hardware for the Series S was that vastly different to the Series X. It sucks for the Xbox gamers but, it's understandable from the developers side.

It took 88hrs to finally get this promotion and I want to scream. The most difficult hand to play in Dice A Million #indiegame. It's already hard to get a clear but the promotion was wild. 🙃🙃🙃Got this and then saw the update balance for Bicolour hand 😅😭😱 A whole lot of emotions right now.

I definitely got lucky on 2 of these but it feels like I have some colour blindness when looking at certain shades. As they blended too much for me. It was the bright purple, orange and pink.

Countlessnights I knew what you made was something magical from the demo. But 14-15hrs into the full release game I got my first clear. I cannot believe what I just witnessed. This is such an incredible fun game. This combo I just tried for the first time carried me to the finish line!
