Wegmans’ version of these are better than the Takis version that seems to be the most popular & more expensive version. They’re a little better than Trader Joe’s version, IMO (which are also good). Both Wegmans’ & Trader Joe’s exclude artificial flavors & colors, so I’ve never even tried Takis.

I took these 2/12/2026 (almost two months before she dumped me) with the express purpose of trying to use whimsy to bridge the gap of 2038 miles of separation caused by her living in a shared apartment (tiny, exploitatively-expensive), and our poverty. It didn't work. She'd been moving on all year.

Smiling because he was unknowingly mere days away from being made formally-single, after a year of separation from the woman he loves against all the odds, who has spent the last several years becoming progressively detached from him but not actually breaking up with him or making clear communication that she wanted to, nor how to bridge any gaps or progress the relationship.

Being loving and kind and patient with people who have long-term trauma issues seems like a good thing to do when you’re able to commit, but it’s not good for you if the other person never works on any of their traumas and leaves you with a refreshed repeat of your own traumas. I am demolished.

An old man drove his mini SUV into my neighbors’ houses several days ago. Luckily he didn’t hit people. It’s too bad he missed my trees or the telephone pole out front. There was no evidence of skidding; not a weather-related issue. I hate living on a busy road, near a busy intersection.

Wheel tracks cross over the corner of my minuscule yard and over the neighbor’s. The curb and snow in front of it show no skidding as was created when dragging the vehicle away. I don’t know how it happened but I’m sad for my neighbors (two houses suffered damage), and just generally confounded that we coexist with cars like this.

Daily I‘m confronted w/reasons why buying this house was the single worst mistake ever made by me while on the psych drugs I was coerced onto. The architects & decision-makers responsible for these stupid 1900 row-houses are long dead, and, as an atheist, I can’t believe they’re in hell for it.

There’s nowhere to easily take the fucking snow because the people who built these row houses were stupid assholes and densely built/attached structures are fucking stupid and antisocial in general. No, familiarity doesn’t breed contempt; forced-proximity does. Nobody should have to constantly hear (or even smell!) the people who aren’t inside their own houses and structural safety shouldn’t be fucking dependent on neighbors’ upkeep or accidents. Should we all be sociable and helpful when possible? Of course. It should, however, be up to our agency whether we experience our neighbors, not be forced by proximity.

My Fallout Shelter “experimental” vault has a pair of dwellers that have produced 20 children so far. I tap to accept the new baby, they dance, then go to the back room [to fuck] again. Vaults, w/finite resources, ought have training/resources for sex w/o constant baby-making.

👋🏽 So exhausted. I used to enjoy self-portraiture. At this point, trying to make music or photography is extra strain on top of coping w/the daily dose of utterly unnecessary intolerable horribleness spewed at us by a broken minority of awful humans granted ultimate power. We must save each other.

That’s me. There IS a keyboard dictionary RESET in iOS, but it's fucking hidden where YOU WILL NEVER LOOK FOR IT (Transfer or Reset iPhone), instead of in FUCKING KEYBOARD SETTINGS where it USED TO FUCKING BE and MAKES SENSE TO BE! Screenshot from www.maketecheasier.com/ios-autocorr...

Dictionary has this useful entry: 3. Any germ or contaminant, real or imagined, especially from the opposite gender (for pre-pubescent children). Also, this exists:

Purple box for the 1970s/1980s preschool toy “cootie”. The toys are segmented and multi-legged caterpillar-like or worm-like bugs made of plastic in flat bold colors. The creatures’ parts are sort of modular. I have no idea what the so-called game was about, but I remember the toy in grade school.

The highlighted garbage in this screenshot is constantly in the way while trying to post on this site. Scroll the page or text box, accidentally close/open the keyboard: SUFFERING. Is it BlueSky that’s at fault, or Apple? I can tell you this: it fucking sucks and wasn’t THIS obstructive until iOS 26

Above that is dead empty space as a buffer for these idiotic Liquid Glass zones so it has unnecessary borders to show off. Above that is an entirely useless bar that does fucking nothing at all despite having controls (they do nothing except for the checkmark which closes the keyboard). Do nothing but block the screen, I mean. Above that is more dead space until finally there’s the name of the website in yet another unnecessary glass bubble that gets in the way. Half the time these things and the page scroll are positioned in such a way that they are overtly CENTERED on the text box. Is that BlueSky or Apple? I know for a fact Apple can’t be bothered to ensure the fucking cursor stays centered on the visible portions of the screen while typing in iMessage so I’m leaning heavily on this being Apple’s fault. Again: it wasn’t this bad before iOS 26. More screen space on larger devices helps a little but does not solve the inherent architectural failures of this motherfucking shitty UI design (and it looks cluttered and confusing). That all these things demand time to animate their constantly shifting positions is further abuse of the user for Apple’s masturbatory indulgence.

It has occurred to me that my young childhood recollection of the dehydrated child in a barrel may have gotten mixed with my recollection of the Alex Beta Unit from The Last Starfighter (1984) (I always felt bad for the Beta Unit)

Space Quest 3 went there, too

Screenshot is at the in-game location of “ScummSoft”, an evil software company. The image features rows of programmers in small cubicles, above and between them on two catwalks are larger guys walking back and forth cracking whips (which were based on executives at Sierra at the time of the game’s development). A much larger cubicle is off to the right side of the screen, as well as the game player’s character Roger Wilco (wearing grey janitor’s overalls to blend in since he’s not supposed to be there, but Roger is himself actually really a janitor, as seen in Space Quest 1 & 2 so the outfit is appropriate).
