Happy 76th birthday John Bunting Bunting started 116 games at linebacker over 11 years (1972-82) with the Birds, and later become a college coach, including five years leading the local Rowan Profs.

Days until kickoff 60. Chuck Bednarik (C/LB, 1949-62) Six-time AP1 won two NFL titles, had number 60 retired, and was a 1967 Hall of Fame inductee. Fearsome tackler famously knocked out Frank Gifford with a devastating hit during a 1960 game.
