Global Peace, Harmony, and Respect for All

The UN started this as a one-day, worldwide, synchronized meditation event. We need to keep it going for as long as it takes to create the world that we all know is possible.

Every day, ideally between 10 AM and noon, spend just 1-5 minutes adding your energy to this intention. Simply focus your mind and heart on global peace, unity, and concern for all people, all life, and Earth.

Imagine human consciousness evolving now to end war and global chaos and then to create a world where all live with mutual respect, in safety and sufficiency for all basic needs.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. Wendell Berry said this in 1968 about the Vietnam War and all wars. Yet here were are, still.

“We seek to preserve peace by fighting a war, or to advance freedom by subsidizing dictatorships, or to 'win the hearts and minds of the people' by poisoning their crops and burning their villages and confining them in concentration camps; we seek to uphold the 'truth' of our cause with lies, or to answer conscientious dissent with threats and slurs and intimidations. . . . I have come to the realization that I can no longer imagine a war that I would believe to be either useful or necessary. I would be against any war.”

What Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics, told NPR about how much the Iran war has cost US residents: "...The cost for the typical American household, is about $1,100." Plus this, with more Trump still adding more vanity projects. Congress is equally to blame.
