In someone else's FB group, a parent said that their student's school was going to move him from an IEP to a 504 senior year because the school mistakenly believes that 504s are valid at college. ❌ Nobody in the comments gave a correct answer. 😑

When they register for disability accommodations at college, students typically have to list what they want. Can they just point to what's recommended in their documentation, or to the ones they've previously had? Learn what may happen to the review of their requests: https://bit.ly/LDAdSS6

we won’t go through a student’s report to pull out and review everything that’s been recommended at the end of a testing report, or in a letter from a provider, or in a high school 504 plan or IEP. Several colleagues told me the same is true at their office.
