It’s simple, the only “fancy” element is some lemon zest in the batter, but it’s perfectly done. Fluffy, interior, crispy edges… doesn’t really even need syrup 🤤

1st time in Prague, for #tcteac. I’ve had kolaches & bbq in Texas w @laurelmack.bsky.social, so it’s fun to see their gastronomic ancestors in their native habitat. www.kantyna.ambi.cz is in a marble hall, but the smoky, meaty connection to TX bbq is as clear as the meal was delicious!

Day 2 of #tcteac was wonderful. Friendliness, camaraderie, interesting science in beautiful spots, again ending with cozy dinner and drinks, this time on an old castle hill with great views. Bring on Day 3 in the woods!
