They understand quite plainly, and they are working to end the 14th amendment. I agree these people are often quite stupid, but throwing your hands in the air and saying “can you believe how dumb these guys are” is not the appropriately calibrated response to their political project
I love this movie but there’s a compelling argument here for going back in time and throwing Tim Burton off the Chrysler building. We wouldn’t get Ed Wood, which would make me sad, but ultimately it’d be for the best

I think if you’re over 70 and you’ve seen a lifetime of rapid technological change it’s probably very easy to just see this as the next thing and not recognize when that thing is hated as much as this is. But also bsky.app/profile/rgru...
