An edited screenshot of a scene from In Space With Markiplier. It's the part where you send in Engineer Mark to fix cryo and he looks like he's covered in icicles and frost and is walking all stiff like he's half froze. The captain humorously grabs a coat before heading in with him and he eventually stops, looks down and says "There were coats this whole time?". I've edited the image to be red rather than blue and edited the name "Simon" over engineer Mark and "was water" over the words "were coats" so that it now reads "There was water this whole time?" It's a reference to something that happens in Markiplier's movie "Iron Lung".

Update on my migraine meds situation: My insurance has denied the appeal that my prescriber sent. I guess they've changed their policies at some point (after covering it for over a year) to now only allow ONE "acute" migraine med and ONE "preventative" migraine med at a time. So my prescriber is trying to see if they'll make an exception for this other medication that's an IV infusion every 3 months so I can keep my Qulipta. If not, I'll have to drop my Qulipta and HOPE that the new medication works. My migraines have become severe which has caused the rest of my bodily pain to also be severe. I hate this so much.. Edit to add: I was discharged early from PT today because I'm not making significant enough progress because my migraines are worse. I'll have to restart it again later if I find relief again.

Black, white, and gray art piece/illustration of an eldritch horror/ eldritch god. There is A LOT going on in this piece. Very busy and purposefully overwhelming. The main figure is a two-headed, or rather split-headed (two faces/skulls fused into one head) monstrosity one side's face appearing more monstrous with long sharp, jagged teeth and a jaw that "wings" out and upward. (It's teeth and the jaw shape makes it look wing-like) It's two main eyes contain a multitude of eyebals, the face's nose is bat-like, it has very sharp features. The other face is more "humanoid" but also has very sharp features. It has black goo oozing from it's thin, too-wide smile. It's unnerving eye looks toward the viewer while it's eyelashes are very long a winding, spreading out like tendrils or nerves. The top of the head is split into two different "styles". On the left, it is expanding upward into multiple eyes and hands. The right is black coiling tentacles. The figure's body is black with a "cracked" appearance and tentacles emerging from it's shoulders and neck. It's a floating bust as below the shoulders turns into "roots" that are also human legs/feet. The background is more abstract with overlapping interesting textures and a pattern that looks like roots, tree branches, or perhaps neurons/nerves.

Bittle had her mass removal surgery yesterday and after picking her up from the vet, we set her up in our little bathroom when we got her home (after leaving her in the carrier for a bit like the vet suggested). However, we quickly noticed that she was bleeding quite a bit and getting it everywhere. She was also crying a lot and breathing rapidly and was very anxious. At some point I noticed a lot of swelling around her incision and was scared she might have been having internal bleeding around her incision site. The blood + her crying, rapid breathing, anxiety + the swelling lead us to decide to take her to the Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency in Lexington late last night. We drove through crazy storms and didn't get home until about 1am. Thankfully, BITTLE IS FINE!! Vet said it was just "normal amount of discharge for this type of surgery", that there are a lot of blood vessels around that area so some bleeding is normal. I had no idea, so it terrified me! They gave her some pain meds that should last for a few days so, while she's still uncomfortable, she's not crying like she was. I am VERY relieved and so so SO incredibly grateful to the kind lady helping us cover Bittle's care. She is my sweet Bitty girl. It breaks my heart seeing her like this but I'm so glad it wasn't anything serious. (red heart emoji)

While Bittle's care has thankfully been covered, Spirit and Luna both still need to see a vet. We also need to get some extra things for Bitty's care (i.e. puppy pads and a very shallow litter pan) as well as the usual stuff like litter and cat food. This rhetoric and slut shaming only reinforces the stigma and dehumanization of sex workers. This is the same stigma that gets them hurt, discarded, and found unalived.
