One of the things I find most disturbing from the quoted piece is this bit. We've already seen significant, targeted harassment campaigns online, where a small group of individuals control hundreds of unsophisticated sockpuppets. What does an AI agent-driven harassment campaign look like?
These "we broke the webpage because you use an ad blocker and we're blaming you for it" notices have been getting very aggressive lately. I've found they can be bypassed by disabling JavaScript, but that can cause other problems. Just gross. adguard.com/en/blog/ad-b...
