Trump, Rubio, Hegseth don’t know if we are at war or not. Or if this is now another Iran war than the one we fought last week. Perhaps a little history will help…

During the Civil War, during the 282 say siege of Petersburg, there were long lulls in active combat. Again, after the Battle of Stone River in January of 1863 there were no big battles until April, with skirmishes leading up the Battle of Chancellorsville four months later.

Lincoln did not claim victory during these pauses. Neither did Sec of War (his actual title) Stanton claim the war was suspended.

That is not correct. Both The Unites States and Iran are actively engaged in naval blockades.
