Lazy trans cinephile that likes to collect steelbooks of bad films and write short stories laced with queer body horror and self-discovery. Might make video essays one day. 28 year old creature. She/Her FUCK ICE! TRANS RIGHTS! FREE PALESTINE!!!
I still remember when the pilot first released, and I initially found Jax insufferably obnoxious. Now I’ve been bawling for the last 5 days because of Jax.
I knew of trans people, but had never spoken to one. In high-school I started casually writing in my spare time. Much of it, stories of body horror and self discovery, and I kept getting comments praising the stories for helping them get through high-school as a closeted trans person. I was like:
Been a helluva week. Pass me the politically relevant and horny Gundam, the trashiest OVAs, and the Makoto Shinkai Ugly-Cry Generator.
With MJ finally fully embracing being Venom in the comics now that Paul’s finally dead, I thought I might remind y’all that I wrote a “VenoMJ” story of my own last year. One without the convoluted baggage of the current comics, and can more comfortably explores the premise of MJ becoming Venom.

HAPPY TRANS DAY OF VISIBILITY!!! Still chipping away at the first story I’ve written since I came out as trans. It’ll be a very personal one full of my usual blend of self-discovery and body-horror. So instead, have an unused sketch of Natasha that @winonawraith.bsky.social did for the story ;)
Typical morning for Natasha usually involves her resting in her bed, acclimating to the sensation of wearing her second skin, and the euphoria that comes with it. Drawn by the always delightful @winonawraith.bsky.social :)
Hell yeah! Been a massive fan of your works’ aesthetic and tone for years and happy to plop my OC into this raffle.
Joke’s on both of them, Shinji was the one who cracked my egg on my first watch.
Bad Dream: A Dreamer Story This one hit real close to home as someone who was once a deeply closeted transfem, who was terrified that coming out to my family would destroy my relationships with them… it may not have destroyed all of them. But it definitely changed them, and that change is scary.
Galaxy: The Prettiest Star Trans stories are sometimes a bit messy when injected into superhero stories. But they work best when they lean into the themes of self-discovery present in both narratives. Galaxy does exactly that, and I can’t wait for the character’s second solo-book later this year!
Speed Racer (2008) Oh, ya’ll weren’t fucking kidding… this shit’s a masterpiece! Glad my first time seeing it was on the big screen. Really special experience, seeing it with a packed and cheering crowd.
Dr. No (1962) “Unfortunately, I misjudged you. You’re just a stupid policeman…” Way more racist than I expected it to be, even for the time.
The Town (2010) What if Michael Mann’s Heat was set in Boston, and the characters were unlikable in a way that made them dull instead of making them compellingly flawed?
Oblivion (2013) It sure is one of the dystopian sci-fi films of all time. Got some neat production design and a few interesting twists in the second half. But overall it kinda drags, and a runtime under two hours might’ve made the narrative developments snappier and more compelling to watch unfold.
Haibane Renmei (2002) Came for the angelic body-horror, stayed for the slice-of-life trauma bonding and meditations upon death, loss, and finding meaning in one’s existence.
Send Help (2026) It may dawdle a bit at the start, but then it locks in, and Raimi effortlessly shifts gears into the same “splat-stick” comedic thriller mode I’ve been missing since Drag Me To Hell. Welcome back old friend. Delightful little return to form.
Since everyone seems to be doing one of those 3x3 grids of their top 9 videogames… here’s mine:
Bought the Easter themed SweetTarts and grabbed a sharpie so I could do something only an adult would do.
