Hej, I'm Elf My personal goal for this year's #artfight are stylized ink drawings inspired by Minor Arcana Tarot cards I have a long list of bookmarks but always love me some Witcher, Dragon Age or Tolkien OC As all my attacks are physical drawings, I can send them by mail should you like them 🤗

First attack of the year on paratonia is an ink drawing of a troll character in a forest setting with wild strawberries. Inspired by the 5 of wands tarot card.

At this stage, it was time to add eyelets to attach the sleeves to the shoulders and in the front of the jacket to close it. Inspired by late medieval closures, I added 24 eyelets and for now I use plied chord as ties Last pic is all that's left of leather and fabric #cosplay #sewing #theWitcher (6)

After all the leather binding was attached it felt a bit simplistic. And of course, my mind decided this would not do. So I added more decorative stitching to the running stitches. I also added stitching to the premade holes to make them look more intentional #cosplay #sewing #theWitcher (5)

To maximise the length of the leather I cut the strips I had in half and then sewed them into the edges of the jacket as binding. It's all sewn on with a simple running stitch after pre-punching holes with a leather awl. There was just enough leather for all seams #cosplay #sewing #theWitcher (4/)

First step: I copied the pattern, so I could recreate it in the future Then I unpicked all the seams and shortened the shirt to match the game references a bit closer. Every cut-off was saved for later. Lining was cut and stitching added to all pieces separately #cosplay #sewing #theWitcher (2/)
