indie game dev behind @tngineers.bsky.social 🌱 I made APICO, Mudborne, Snacktorio and more!
Finally set up a little forum for TNgineers, always wanted one and recently got inspired by some friends who were making some so here's ours! :D tngineers.com/forums/index...
New devlog, talking about finishing up the demo, playtesting, and feedback! steamcommunity.com/games/190294...
Hello chefs!! I'm looking for a few peeps to help playtest the new snacktorio demo! This will be a private playtest, not for streaming/content creation - if you're interested pls fill in the form below: forms.gle/ZRpKSpnA9tS6...
And I'm done, with an hour left on the jam! You can play it over on itch here: ellraiser.itch.io/xoroboros Will write up a little devlog for it all once I've slept for 24 hours...
enemy turns! i gave the computer a bit of a skewed deck with more cards of certain types than it should have, which then lets it be a bit meaner and makes up for the enemies being a bit.... dim
shop + deck! got most cards designed and implemented, some need some new code to handle doing some weird shit tho
working on something for love jam this year! theme is "revealed", i'm doing an advanced wars style tactics game where you can change the ground to buff/debuff units visibility is based on your units and tiles, everything is is hidden!
also the little house icon on the map was when i was originally going to have proper little houses, until I tried drawing them and couldn't make them like they were in my head, so used the islands instead! 5/5 always fun to find these random old sketches and ideas and how they changed!
"dive points? frogspawn patches" I only vaguely remember! I think the idea was there was going to be patches of frogspawn you jump into and then it spat you out somewhere else (like dont starve wormholes!) i think with the gates coming along i sort of forgot about this one, would of been fun 4/5
"lilypad minigame?" with the grid of circles is interesting - this ended up becoming the stepping stones you have to jump on in order (see vid) but i remember originally thinking they'd be big grids of them and some would be correct and others would return you back to the beginning 2/5
old sketch i found, this was before i'd started designing the full game properly so you can see the 'region' layout a bit different with the first area vs the the central junction 1/5
Steam decided Snacktorio apparently doesn't meet the criteria but I promise it is automation and not my usual weird genetic nonsense games!!!
