Tried to get a picture of a white dove that has been sighted several times. I think its one of a nesting pair. Why it look like it's squinting at the ground? 🤣 #BirdsUK #Dove #wildlife

A white dove pecking at the ground. There are slabs marking the edges of dirt area, which is set into a grey path. The slim trunk of a young tree can be seen reaching out of the ground to the left of the picture. Patches of grass and the odd leafy weed can be seen growing out from under the barky-mulch.

The picture of the white dove, zoomed in so only the full bird can be seen. It is leaning forwards, beak half open, mid-peck over the bark-mulch.
Its head is facing the left of the picture and its tail is pointing to the right.

The same picture, but zoomed in further still. Only the head is visible, with a few strands of grass in the foreground.
Its eye can be seen more clearly. It is not fully open, nor fully closed. It is mid-blink, but it looks as if the burd is examining or critiquing the ground, as if determining whether this is worth searching for food or not.
That is my imagination though. Or is it? 🤔

Walk through Arundel Park was nice. #nature #mentalhealth

A hill of grass that sweeps down towards a well trodden trail. There are trees on the opposite hill and a small tree in the field to the right of the photo.
There are also 5 sheep grazing on the sloping hill (field side) with 3 in the shade and two in the sun.

A nesting Swan sitting on its impressively large nest. Its neck is curved with its head inclined to the left of the picture. Weeds and other fauna can be seen in the forefront of the frame, with grass sticking out of the water that runs behind the nest.

The same Swan as the other picture but with a female Mallard ducks swimming towards the nest. The Swan is also now facing forwards.

A random picture of part of a lake we passed by. I liked how clear the water was and how clear the reflection of the surrounding trees and other plants could be seen on its surface.

Saw this one in a museum.

A picture from the Narural History Museum in London, UK.
It shows a complete skeleton of an adult Ceolpphysis (think i spelt that right), on the wall in a circular frame, its head rises and curls to the left to face the tip of its tail.
The bones from its last meal (a small crocodile) can be seen in its ribcage.

I don't know if I could choose just one. But this was my first big model and I'm still chuffed with how it turned out 😊

A large Spearhead Seraphon model with the blue guy on top. The base is grass with a few slate stones for rock. The Carnosaur is painted with blood angel red, with black along its spine.

The blue guy (Saurus Oldblood) sits atop the Carnosaur, brandishing the spearhead in its right (your left) hand, mouth open in a cry, its left (your right) hand outstretched and painted gold.

I wish I could describe better but my brain is all mushy right now 🫠.

My mood this morning…
