My son and I are both playing casual netplay on Tokon. He's on the PS5 and I'm on PC. We got matched up randomly! 😅 Also, he said it felt laggy on his end. My PC is very powerful and the game runs fine and I have 5GB fiber. Must really be bad cross play issues.
The new venue for Xrd and +R locals (Life Bar Arcade) is really nice! They have a ton of cool cabs and pinball machines. Best of all, they have THIS! (I'm gonna learn to get good!)
A new Jollibee recently opened up near my house. I missed the FFXIV collab but asked if they had any cups left and they gave me one of the extras for free! 😁
So I just randomly found out there is an old Japanese punk band called Balzac, which is very similar to "Bozac" and they all look like skeleton Faust...

Got to see the first US show of the Scandinavian Heavy Arts Tour, with Soen and Dark Tranquility co-headlining (Persefone as the opener). Sick concert! Fun times. 🤘🔥
Here is basically the same list if I had to only choose modern games I had the best experiences playing as an "old man"
I guess I'll play along. Though... this was really hard to choose and I basically kept it to old games. There are tons of new games I love a lot but these are like the ones that hold a special place for me. Maybe not the best 9 of all time, and I could swap a few out, but games that define me.
I am now home only to learn that Comcast Xfinity line also got hit and have no internet.
Just tried this torta at "new" Mexican spot 5 min from my house called El Guerrero. It's got al pastor, fried chicken and ham. It's MASSIVE (my hand for scale). Only one half shown (ate the other). Less than $15. Next time you are at my place for Garage Gear, etc, get one. Trust me. Best torta FREE!
