This one just had dental surgery on Wednesday. He was too loopy and hurt to eat after, so by the time Thursday morning came, he inhaled his breakfast. Here is his little swollen face.
A friend brought me to a #Dodgers game. The group in front of us was here for 30 minutes total & only showed up to get pictures for the Insta. Meanwhile, I might be in love with this camera op who must have jacked arm muscles because at no point did he use an easy rig. Also go Mookie Betts.
Polls are open in LA County! This year it's a good idea to drop off your ballot at a polling center or a drop box, or come vote in person. We're all very bored here at the polling location. Come get your sticker. I had to cut them out with these Swiss Army scissors. #Vote
Spent the last 2 weeks organizing a community meet & greet with Echo Park Neighborhood Council. This morning, we gave out free pastries & coffee at Clark St Bakery & chatted with everyone who came by. It was a great success! I am now tired and full of carbs.
A bodkin is used primarily to slide thin trims through narrow channels on clothing. Did the drawstring slip out of your hoodie? Bodkin will fix it. Need to replace the dead elastic in your favorite shorts? Bodkin. Everyone should own one. Here are two examples of styles I like.

I think my favorite thing I have purchased at #GallifreyOne was this $5 out of the box Titan miniature. He is an obscure Doctor Who character who everyone hates & i bought him for the same reason I buy the ugliest pumpkin at Halloween.

Did leather work today at the Echo Park Repair Faire. People hand you broken things and then you hand them back fixed things. It's good for the soul. My favorite fix was this purse that had a torn strap. I had my acrylic markers, so I got creative.
Today I conned some of my friends into shooting a video at Spellbpund as their LARP characters for the price of lunch at Pitfire (in costume). What a perfect day. I finally directed something.
I have been using a tiny dry erase board all day to run errands, and I gotta say I might just keep doing this after I get my voice back. It's great for days when you just don't want to chat.
I bought this pint glass at a dive bar/grill named Donkey's Place in Camden, NJ. They do not have vegetarian options. I really love drinking dark liquids in this glass.
I clocked my head on the floating stair while looking for my dog's toy. I'm okay now, but while I was doubled over on the floor, one dog came to my aid and sat with me. One dog continued to look for his toy, unconcerned about my wellbeing. This is the traitor in question.
