A lot going on isn’t there?
It’s the little things. Cal struggles with sensory distress when I have to wash her hair. Low muscle tone in her hands makes it difficult for her to do independently. Plan B that she’s well chuffed about is the new mobile sink I purchased so her support worker can do it ‘just like the hairdressers’
Spent the morning fighting with the Singapore Daisy in my front garden- I won but my arms are torn to pieces…
Happy Birthday Matt- you would have been 60 today, but are forever young at 44 - my heart breaks everyday at losing you, then I remember not everyone gets the love and life we shared. How lucky we were!
Something to reflect on… (I often joke that living with Cal is like living with Rihanna (Diamonds tour era) - multiple outfit changes- lots of singing and dancing, and a personal valet- (me 😂). I’m making sure she’s living her BEST life 🥰
Oof. I try and break up my dystopian consumption with some hope 😂. This one I read after Butler- it was a good salve
