Tries to write (and sell) books, look after cats and produce meals that don't look like the school dinner lady dumped them on a plate. No DMs, please.
So... I have cost you thousands in vet bills, forced you to cancel your summer holiday, made you feed me through a tube and bit and scratched you when you attempted to apply eye drops, but THE CUTENESS!!!!!! #Caturday
Another Vinci book on offer... for 99p/c. The Beginning by Dorothy Stone is a psychological thriller with an isolated setting and dark family secrets. vinci-books.com/thebeginning
Golf crime thriller by my fellow Vinci Books author Lyle Nicholson for 0.99c/99p until 14 July. www.vinci-books.com/fatalswing
#Caturday! Our now recovered cat (the vet bill, phew...) stretches out her delicate legs and paws...
Last day to pick up a free copy of my fellow Vinci Books author @matthewhattersley.bsky.social Final Kill www.vinci-books.com/final-kill
I'm receiving increasing amounts of scam emails from people who claim to be either book marketing experts, or famous authors who say they have read and loved my books. Three today already, including this one, allegedly from @andreamara.bsky.social: (it isn't, I'm not daft)
#Caturday! Lady Lucy stretches her delicate paws and shows off her tummy.
The Highland Books have had another cover glow-up! These are my favourite covers so far... #BookSky
Highland Fling is in a real life Waterstones promotion which feels both thrilling and weird. 25% off the paperback if you pre-order with code FEB26 (17–20 Feb, online only). Small Scottish village ✔️ Grumpy man ✔️ Emotional healing disguised as gossip ✔️ Link: www.waterstones.com/book/highlan...
#Scotland #6Nations #CalcuttaCup oh, happy, happy days! Celebrating the cheer of Scotland's win with my Valentine's gifts from the cat.
#Caturday! Our cancer cat is now so spoiled, he gets to eat tuna (tuna!) on the bed...
#WeeknightWriters Set in Glasgow, Forever, Maybe is funny, poignant and emotionally sharp — perfect if you love honest stories about long-term love and reinvention. #WomensFiction #GlasgowNovel
#Caturday... my poor wee guy has been diagnosed with a tumour on his pancreas. We've decided against further treatment as a) it might not work, b) it's super stressful (our vet agrees), c) it's £3k plus. So, we're giving William his best life. Sleep, all his favourite food, loads of head rubs. Ach.
#Caturday! Cat recovering from pancreatitis (and serious weight loss). Favourite blanket on sofa? Tick. Food options x three? Tick. Food and water nearby? Tick. Litter box in the living room (despite the stink). Tick as well.
Christmas in the Highlands was meant to be relaxing but between the gossiping locals, surprise guests, leaking secrets and a baby who refuses to cooperate, Gaby & Jack’s holiday is a festive disaster in the best possible way.
#Caturday! Lady Lucy joins the 🌶 plants we are desperately trying to keep alive for a wee snooze in the winter sunshine.
Another fabulous 1930s murder mystery... the book moves along at a cracking pace, and just as satisfying as the murder mystery is the ongoing relationship between Dottie and William. @caronallanfiction.bsky.social
#Caturday! Found this picture of Freddie with Sandy while clearing out my photo gallery the other day. That cat sure loved a cuddle...
My paperback of Highland Fling is going to be in Waterstone’s next April 😭 — and they’re doing a 25% pre-order discount this week. Huge thanks to @VinciBooks for making my wee Highland romcom bookshop-official. 🏔️✨ waterstones.com//campaign/oc...
#Caturday! Oh no it's not... this is a story though. Yesterday, Sandy had to chase this wee fella off the railway line, as he charged up and down it, happy as Larry, totally unaware of the risk. Sandy and a train driver (the dog had delayed three trains by this point, thank you Scotrail),
