I am unbelievably proud of myself for coming up with this. Kid chooses breakfast the night before. Morning hanger leading to not being able to eat anything averted. (Yes, yes, precious only child...)
Heatwave advice : I would highly recommend doing something like this with emergency foil blankets. I've been so impressed with how much more effective it is than just closing the blinds/curtains. Indoor temperature is normal rather than uncomfortable.
Saw the Aurora Orchestra play Mozart Jupiter Symphony this afternoon at the Beacon, which was fun. I did spend the whole time wanting to play, though 😎
The printed size and washing instructions were showing through the back of my new white t shirt, so I did a bit of embroidery to cover it up 😊
The snails have eaten pretty much all of the beans and peas we lovingly grew and planted out, so I have been forced to buy these monsters from the garden centre... Let's see who wins this one.

My almost 6yo requested a 'sloth cake' for his birthday, so I took a picture of his favourite sloth toy and got Asda to print it on a cake. 😁

My son’s class were drawing Keir Starmer yesterday and the photos on Dojo are HILARIOUS. I kid you not - they ALL drew him with a square head. Wish I could share the others, but here’s my son’s depiction of our robot overlord.
