So I'm back on Virtual DJ, Engine is too limited especially in the browser where you can't select what it shows so half the space is wasted by a waveform instead of useful tags. Engine Desktop is also pretty terrible so I'd need to spend 360€ on Lexicon and even that solution isn't perfect. But the

⬛ OFFLINE ⬛ #Paralives has quite a few rough edges, the performance isn't amazing, but I already love it so much! Here's me and my 2 friends Sofia and Shania! (most of the stream was me building my little 2 story home) I'll be playing more on Thursday!

A blonde non-binary lil guy. He has shoulder-length blonde hair with straight cut bangs. He's wearing a denim jacket over a white crop top, brown shorts and shoes.

Sofia. She works as a nurse, I met her after fulfilling a request from her on the notice board. She has tan skin, black hair in a ponytail with bangs. She's wearing a lavender top. (I'm not into clothes so I don't know what style) and pale blue jeans.

Shania. The first person I met.
I was at the beach building sandcastles when I suddenly got the need to talk to another human. (crazy, I know)
She was the closest and we got along!

She has brown skin and brown hair styled in an afro (? Just like with clothes, I'm not into haircuts lol)
She wears a white top and a long yellow dress with flowers. Also glasses.

My little home. It has light grey stone walls, wooden windows with blue shutters and a blue door. It's set in between 2 buildings on the smallest plot I could find, the walls are wonky and it was hard to build at times, but I like it. Roofs aren't very good yet so I kept the bare floor and gave it dark grey carpet to look like a bitumen roof.

I was gonna upgrade to a GRV6 but while it's cool and has a bunch of features I like, it would still feel like a stepping stone. A 750€ stepping stone... Instead of wasting money on something I'd eventually want to replace, I might as well buy big and buy once. So I'm saving up for a FLX10 instead.

An Alpha Theta (🤮) (formerly Pioneer) DDJ GRV6. It has a 4 channel mixer and nice stem FX sections that I can remap to whatever in Virtual DJ. But it looks a bit toy-like, has no jogwheel LCD displays, no RGB pads, tiny tempo faders and is still very expensive for what it is.

A Pioneer DDJ FLX10. This is the top of the line software controller. Above that you get into standalone systems that don't need a computer.

This one has full color jogwheel displays, RGB pads, full-size tempo faders, better FX workflow and better quality audio outputs.

For context, the camera is pretty damn good when it comes to focal length! It has a 35mm equivalent of 1200mm. Here's a photo of a 737 at around 6000ft, and Saturn, both uncropped. So I reaaaaally wanna catch Saturn again, and also look at the moon!

A while ago I got these binos after one of my grandpas died, imported in 1969. I never thought to try them for plane spotting as I thought my camera was better, and booooy was I wrong! I think they just ruined the Lumix FZ-82 for me 😭
