Just watched The Visitor (2007). Still so relevant. It shows ICE detention, deportation, humanizing the people behind the headlines. Told through a white prof, but the film makes clear he can’t “save” anyone. Tarek, Zainab, and Mouna’s lives and dignity are central. I think more ppl should watch rn.
