#scriptsky after some back and forth woth the dev team and bloated 130 page draft. I have gotten it back to 108 comfortable pages. And a new #firstpagefriday same vibe but the horror comes faster! “The Devil’s Cut”
#scriptsky No one panic. Just sit down for this - I got a full script request for my latest script. Director/producer with a decent investor group behind her. I’m gonna wait a full 26 minutes before I hit send to make it look like I did not have it ready to go. Teased with excerpt from coverage.
So I missed an email. Flickers’ RIIFF selected Age of Aquarius as a Semi Finalist. Again congrats to fellow semi finalist. Final selections will be in the fall. This is pretty cool. 2 scripts selected. I may have to check out the fest next month. #scriptsky
This is very cool. Flickers’ RIIFF has advanced Monitor as a Semi Finalist. Final rounds are in the fall. This one has some prestige to it. Honored for the selection. Good luck to all of the other projects that have advanced! #scriptsky
It’s f’ it #firstpagefriday. Here is page one of my latest. And the first Dev Reader feedback. This is a dangerous project! #scriptsky
So this happened last night! As a self-taught guitar player (and a self-taught screenwriter) this story was challenging to research and incredibly fun to write. I sent it off to readers and early feedback is encouraging. The world knows this story. But not Devil’s version. #scriptsky
My favorite meta exchange in Age of Aquarius. Basically a monologue. HG Wells meets Issac Asimov. What would you say?
Ha! Thanks for asking! I took 4 days in Orlando with my oldest for a quick vacation. Will get back to the latest. It’s 20 pages short of my goal.
Now, we wait. I think this script will be moving to the top of the pile. #scriptsky
Excited to share my latest supernatural thriller has been named a finalist in Cannes Script Festival Summer 2026! This is a new project with minor tweaks every day. But it is a solid story that will be a mid-budget award adjacent project for the right production company! #scriptsky
#scriptsky Feedback on an earlier draft of "A Century of Rain": I have addressed some of the issues. A supernatural thriller AND art-house tragedy. I can do that. The comment about Lena coming in earlier, a fully realized co-protagonist arriving on page 60, breaks too many rules.
4 of 4 now reporting in! Gold for A Century of Rain in International Gold Awards!
Update: 3 of 4 events have reported in. A Century of Rain with it’s first win in Milan. Are You Ok gets a win in Florence! #scriptsky
Great day in the lotterverse! My latest feature script is getting some love. And my dark vigilante script is standing out too. These Official selections are eligible for advancement this weekend so cross your fingers and toes! #scriptsky
#firstpagefriday - 3 scripts! Brandnew A Century of Rain, 3 selections today in various contests. Are You Okay- hasn’t missed yet! And The Devil’s Cut- got word last night that we have been green-lit for POC production. #scriptsky
Readers are loving my latest feature script. I have a couple of structural decisions to make. A linear, lonely century as written or tell less of the years as flashbacks. #scriptsky
#scriptsky This was a blast to write. A supernatural thriller. “A Century of Rain” “After being cursed with immortality and a lethal touch in the trenches of WWI, a man spends a century searching for the one person who can hold him without dying."
#scriptsky So this came in today! I don’t need to tell you how excited this makes me. This is a dangerous script. 2 female leads. A tough/timely story and one that can be made at ANY BUDGET! Read all about it: lotterverse.com/NewsArticle?...
This is pretty cool! Age of Aquarius was named a Quarter Finalist in the Page Turner Top 100! Congrats to all who entered. #scriptsky
This is a great Father’s Day note. This script will be making its rounds very soon. It was hard to write. Hard to read and with the right team will change how the topic is discussed. #scriptsky
Guys - The Devil’s Cut is a Quarter Finalist in Emerging Screenwriters Horror Screenplay Completion. I am really happy with this draft. I higher bodycount and Lovecraftian ending! #scriptsky
#scriptsky #firstpagefriday The Devil’s Cut. Notes from dev-exec. I am expecting contracts on Monday for its option and my service agreement. That is kind of a big deal.
#scriptsky Excited to share - 3 feature scripts official selections at Tokyo Film and Screenplay Awards. Read all about it at lotterverse.com/Updates
Are you sitting down? Age of Aquarius has been elevated to a Finalist (Top 10 Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror) in 19th Annual Story Pros Screenplay Contest. This is a pretty big milestone for this project. Congrats to my fellow finalist, @svenanarki.bsky.social and others. Good luck. #scriptsky
#scriptchat #scriptsky Age of Aquarius was elevated to a semifinalist in the sci-fi category. Hopping to be named a finalist Monday!
#scriptchat #scriptsky So as to not bore this evening. My work collected 13 awards and placements this week. All the details can be read at lotterverse.com/Updates notables: Monitor and The Devil’s Cut got Best Feature Script nods. My new drama was 3-3 as a silver award or honorable mention.
Well this is embarrassing. Each one of this is IMDB qualifying. Which I have recently started to use a pro account. The official selections are done. The finalist have a chance at Winner/Gold/Silver/Honorable Mention. The first accolades for Are You Ok? My first drama. #scriptsky 12/12!
#WIPWednesday #scriptsky Page 1 and 104 of “Are You Ok?” A twist on a vigilante thriller where the cost to act is very real.
As writers we chase the recommend/must buy. To get there we must hone our craft. Learn from our mistakes. Be bold by stepping our of our comfort zone to grow. The coverage on my latest project is proof I am growing. “Are You Ok?” is a dark, dangerous and neccessary. #scriptsky
