Postcards from from the edge of Toronto... Via gigabit fibre.
Lol, you are being technically rational. My inverter is UL 1741 SB compliant too. Count the disconnects in the photos below... Compliance orgs move slowly here. (Answer: 5 in photos, 1 off screen, all due to Ontario electrical code compliance)
First #solarpower from my new whole home #solarybattery system. 9.5 kW demand from battery recharge & full house loads using photovoltaics only Next up: ESA inspection & start #netmetering I have aspired to residential #solarenergy generation for a long time. This is a life goal achieved.
#LoadDisplacement now in operation from my new #Solarbattery Still awaiting #solarinstallation completion to commence #netmetering PV export. Smoke & tstorm delays on play. As of today from 7am-7pm I am operating fully off-grid using my 48.3 kWh Discover Energy Systems HELIOS batteries.
Energy independence looks like this.... 48.3 kWh whole home residental BESS 18.5 kW solar PV generation 17 kW NG generator of last resort 2 BEVs Electric bill 📉 90% NG bill 📉 >75% Gasoline bill 📉 $0
It is done. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 The moment of #ESA approval of the 48.3 kWh Discover HELIOS and Sol-Ark 15k #BESS battery energy storage side of my #solarbattery #solarbatterysystem The 18.5 kW rooftop #photovoltaic #solarinstallation final phase started today!
#LFP #Batteries arrive for my whole home solar battery #solarinstallation 48.3 kWh, 3 x 16.1 kWh Discover Helios delivered, ready for unboxing and installation. Real beasts to move. Discover Energy is a 🇨🇦 battery manufacturer. #solarpower #solar
The heart of every #solarinstallation begins with a single piece of gear. In this case, the heart of my whole home solar battery is #SolArk #solar
Lol watching you argue with accounts on my block lists. Your willingness to try to teach is heroic. "Never have so many people had access to so much knowledge, and yet been so resistant to learning anything." - @radiofreetom.bsky.social
@professormusgrave.bsky.social JFC Professor. Depraved indifference.
I was hanging out with friends in Bill Buxton's graphics lab at UofToronto just after that in undergrad. They went to Alias. I did Internet infrastructure. But I have always have maintained my interest in computer graphics fundamentals. Pixar was doing gob smacking things back then.
Sorry. There is a sudden, IT industry wide shortage of DDR5 memory. Seems to be spreading to other types. Claimed driver is hyperscaler genAI builds. Distribution channels are *widely* stock out with claim of no resupply coming for months. Much worse than the recent GPU shortage.
