Dug up enough spuds for me and MrsEJ for tea. I’ll boil them, some butter, salt and pepper, no messing around with them. Couple of slices of ham and pickled onions. Delicious.

This is where I’m #working today. Not too hot and a nice breeze. Short break for a pasty and a cuppa. Lovely.

I’ve had a couple of hours spare before #work this morning. Had this scruffy wooden #bowl for 20p at the #charityshop, so decided to try to bring it back to life. Bit of a clean, sanding and #beeswax and I can use it now.

Sat in the garden eating apples and drinking coffee. MrsEJ is #drawing and I’m #reading. Very relaxed morning we’ve had. #WBYeats

Back from my charity shop trip. Not much music about today. I got 4 #CDs for a quid but no vinyl today. #Aerosmith #JoanArmatrading #KeithChristmas and the soundtrack to #AlmostFamous. Didn’t Keith Christmas play on Space Oddity? Not sure but I’ll check later.

Did my #volunteer job today and after went for a #walk. I did about four miles. My bad knee was sore but I’m pleased to have got back out after a three month gap.

The #sun just broke through the #cloud across the valley behind the house. It lasted for about two minutes. #Lovely.

MrsEJ and me enjoying a ‘cocktail on the patio’ (Guinness by the shed). MrsEJ is on the zero alcohol version. I love my old #Guinness pint pot.

Bit of a cool breeze here now. The #sky looks a bit stormy.

No #work today. I’m in the garden, in the shade. I’m having a listen to a charity shop #CD. #Oceania #SmashingPumpkins I don’t know much about them but it’s a decent listen so far.

Finished #work early for a doctors appointment about my knee. Result was more X-rays and keep taking the tablets. Time for a record #BoHansson #LordoftheRings I was given this with a pile of old prog records when a friend started buying CDs instead of #records in the early 90s.
