Okay, here are two dither-adjacent techniques in Jedi Knight. A is a texture authored to conform to a limited 256-color palette. (Same as Quake.) B is real-time shading banding on a dynamic model. For B, they probably *could've* used dithering, but they probably found it too noisy.
