Three weeks ago, Azathoth was an idea. Now it’s ~4,500 lines of production code, ~33,000 lines of tests, 900 tests, real LLM execution through OpenRouter, multi-generation optimization, empirical ranking, context-aware workflows, and a tool system designed to become persistent. 1/3
The last 24 hours have been… a little unhinged. ✅ 9 major architectural features ✅ 9 ADRs (22–30) ✅ 222 new tests (435 → 657) ✅ 9,257 new lines of code (15,704 → 24,961) Azathoth can now execute workflows, measure reliability, evaluate outcomes, score executions, 1/2

Five days ago this repository didn’t exist. Five days later: • 890 lines of production code • 2,300 lines of test code • 70 passing tests More importantly… Azathoth just crossed a major milestone. It can now empirically compare strategies instead of relying on intuition.
Progress isn’t glamorous. It’s writing code. Breaking it. Writing tests. Breaking it again. Until one day… [ALL CHECKS PASSED] Azathoth gets a little smarter every day. 🍏🤷♀️💅
The future of AI isn’t just bigger models. It’s smarter systems. Most AI conversations start with: “Which model should answer this?” I think there’s a better first question: “Have we already solved this?”

Earlier today I talked about the lack of any clear process for trans women to access razors in my shelter. This is why that matters. Not because of what other people see… Because of what I see when I look in the mirror.
I wasn’t looking for special treatment. I was looking for a policy. After talking with operations, security, and my case workers, everyone had a different answer—and it turned out there wasn’t actually a documented process.
