Our Mattie in his Master Tailor outfit just before William and Kate's wedding. We're all short on my maternal side of the family, Mattie is 5 foot 2, his dad, my cousin Peter is 5 foot 1.
We were at a Murder Mystery dinner last night with friends and it was very good. The dining room had some pretty fantastic air condoning too. We thought we were going to sit there sweating all night, but were lovely and cool, so that was a bonus. Pictured is the victim.
Two of my favourite Penelope Keith roles. Helen in Waters of the Moon and Sarah in The Norman Conquests.
Friend has sent me of this cactus from Lanzorote. I've never seen anything like it. I thought it was a furry headband.
No, but my paternal nan and her sisters all lived to their 90s. Aunty Dinah died aged 98. Mom also got 98 and was in excellent health until she fairly suddenly passed away. She hardly went grey either. Mom in the green at her 90th birthday party.
Grandson, 6, made husb an Aston Villa bracelet. He might have to substantially stretch it to get it on, but he'll give it a go.
Cousins kate's husb Brian, cousins Hannah, Kate and June at a family party in 1982.
From our back garden. I'm not a sunshine /hot weather fan, but I got 2 lines full of washing dry in super quick time, which is a positive.
Managed to get a bit of a rainbow from out the back before cloud covered it again.
I'm the taller of the bridesmaids at my cousin Hannah's wedding in 1978. We had to wear these lace mop caps which were bloody awful. Hannah wasn't a fan either, but the dressmaker bullied her into having them. I can report that she stands up for herself a lot better now. I'm holding flowers obv.
Or to put it another way, everyone was furious with him, even some of his brain dead voters had finally realised what a dangerous monster he is and there was a (slim) chance that he'd be removed over it, so he's desperately backpeddling. Shame on everyone who voted this moron into office.
I know people object to the posts Ferrethead does on Truth, but this is so batshit I can't not share
Me last weekend. It was 'impersonate a turkey day' in our village. I came second in the competition.
Earthshine moon tonight. Pics not much cop, but it gives you an idea.
With my late brother Andrew 1989. I was 23 and just pregnant with my second baby.
Just sent to me by my brother, my paternal nan and Grandad in 1917. Nan nursed grandad after he was wounded in the trenches. They married shortly after this pic was taken.
Had a lovely evening with daughter and grandkids, despite the rain, at Twycross Zoo for their Lantern event. It really was stunning and the tots loved it.
That does sound interesting! Unfortunately my friend took the blanket yesterday before I took a picture. It's a pattern I've done before, but I did it in a pale blue. This is one I did a while ago, just in James Brett baby marble.
