idk why i didn't just keep all the items in my little treasure box. it wasn't much. I kept the kittens kaleidoscope, the large button with five colored gems, the winter olympics coin, the ten commandments bracelet, the tiny locket, and the little box I kept them in. young adult me was an idiot

I just found a childhood grail item that I haven't even SEEN, in real life or photos, since I lost mine years ago. I couldn't even find proof that Lisa Frank glitter stamp necklaces existed until recently. This is one of those objects i memorized the feel of and just holding it would calm me down

Mystery Man has been back this week. He has let me pet him briefly but he does hiss when I do. This morning I accidentally scared him out of the japonica bush in our front yard (I've caught a couple cats sleeping in there now) so I gave him a healthy breakfast. And then he departed once again

She got in trouble for being mean and too aggressive with Hoagie so she is in time-out (locked in the bedroom with me and Rob.) After crying pathetically at the door for a bit, she is now laying on me purring and being cute like she wasn't just hissing and screaming with her brother 🤦‍♀️

this is the part where i just openly started sobbing. they're so genuinely happy; Caine is letting someone else be in charge and it's GANGLE. Gangle gets to be control. This is so important for both of them

Yaya is doing great since coming home, her appetite seems back to normal and she's tolerating meds ok. She's extremely cuddly which is nice too. She's curled up under my chin purring while I type this. Hoagie has also calmed down and is falling back into their routine. Here's the water cup line

Sometimes the local rescue we adopted Hoagie and Yaya from gets a black cat who looks and acts so much like one or both of them, and I have to wonder if they're related. Honey could easily be their mom or an older sister/auntie

Annnnd just like her brother, she did not eat anything but half a churu. She just wanted to cuddle hardcore and took turns on each of our laps. Purred louder than she usually does. The radiologist showed up while we were there so they took her in for an ultrasound once she was calm and comfortable

Well she threw up her tuna meal so we're at the emergency vet. We're exhausted and need professional help. She's not doing too bad, in pretty good spirits. She still has a big appetite too (she started eating a few treats she found while I was on the phone with the emerg vet lmao)

Thank all of you for Yaya love❤️ Her new cone arrived and I had to teach her how to look out the window with it. But she is adapting; her toe hurts more without the gaba but she let me clean it and it's looking better

i was scrolling bsky and saw a friend retweeted your request for Stinky Toe Funds, and it made me laugh/feel for you cuz my own little girl black cat is currently suffering from the same thing for the same reason!! We've been cleaning and doing antibiotics but the stinky toe keeps returning!!
