Golden light upon the corn,
A quiet sky, a day reborn.
Whispers dance where warm winds flow,
And sunset paints the fields aglow.

Day breaks, or does the night find us first?
What matters, the beginning or the end?
I fall asleep, I emerge again,
in alcohol haze and ecstasy’s mist.
Through the bliss of connection, music shakes my body,
awakening the soul I thought was dead.

Chartres leans into blue,
a stone rocket dreaming.
I walk beyond maps, where deep space blooms,
an LSD whisper without the drug:
cathedrals become galaxies,
and every star is a door I’ve yet to open.

Scorched stem, still a sprout.
Cracked heart, soft start.
Tears tremble, yet hope hums.
From ash to green,
From ache to bloom
I choose to trust the sun won't steal every spring.
I'll dare love again.

The only jail’s the dark in your head,
cold iron made of fear and regret.
Love’s a drunk fight in a backstreet rain,
kissin’ bruises, dancin’ with pain.
After every broken dream we crawl,
still mad enough to love through it all.

I weave through nights like a lonely spider’s art,
Thin silver threads from my aching heart.
I crave your touch, your fire above.
A fragile soul still starved for love.

My heart rushed headlong into the fight,
torn between longing and memory.
An angel pulls one end, a soldier the other.
Pierced through, it bleeds in silence
for the arrow that wounds it
is the same that keeps it alive.

From dawn where roses blush red
to the green night beneath the stars,
your fragrance will linger around me
soft as memory, endless as the sky.

Beneath Montpellier’s pale tree, night drinks the last breath of hope.
Each window flickers a dying vigil upon the abyss.
Black grows the White Tree, awaiting the fall of its leaves, while silence descends like a raven upon the soul.

This morning I saw a snail, bright,
I snapped a photograph outright.
It may sound foolish, dull, or slight,
To me it felt like pure delight:
The world looked beautiful tonight.

In darkness, colors bloom like secret fires.
Wine loosens the locked doors of the soul,
our chakras spinning wild beneath the night.
Tomorrow, dust.
Tonight, we drink, we love,
and burn beautifully before the dawn.

Gates gape, shadows shape,
Steps slip, silence sips.
Lights line, lanes lean,
Night nibbles, near unseen.
Void calls, veils fall,
End bends, beginning blends.

Gold flicks fast in a fountain’s spray,
Blue sky hums as the light slips away.
Dark meets glow in a laughing stream,
Life runs quick like a shared bright dream.

After a year of silence, of absence, of ache,
you ask “How are you?” like yesterday lived.
What do I do with it?
with fear, with need, with you in my veins,
and the dreams that haunt what sleep I steal?

Sometime I just can't write a poem.
Sometime I just want to sit in the dark and cry.

Suspended like a magic stone,
Ground above air, proudly alone.
Water gone, silence loud and clear,
Revealed at last - ta-da! - the spell is here! ✨

Down an ancient lane, night mirrors gleam,
Red lights whisper a Christmas dream.
Who slips inside, gifts wrapped in cheer,
Or hands that steal what children fear ?
Parents smile wide; the child feels dread,
As shadows breathe where angels tread.

Past year lies ruined; through a splintered tower, blue
Cold stones remember what broke, what we’ve grown
From open crown, all futures breathe, unthrown
A gentle year arrives, sky wide and true blue

Through winter’s frozen hush the sunlight softly gleams,
Above the palms still stand, unbent by icy schemes.
Their crowns recall the warmth of summers yet to be,
Hope breathes in gilded air, a silent melody.

The sun crowns hills in burning glow
Backlit dreams ignite below here
A newborn dawn writes what may be
Fate rolls dice for you and me now

Glass after glass, the bottles align,
From bitter beginnings to fin and to wine.
Sip toward forgetting, I wrestle the pain,
Chasing soft darkness, courting the drain.
I drink for the silence, not joy I can find,
A slow-fading war for my soul and my mind.

You stand like a snowbound mountain, beautiful, distant, untouchable.
Your silence freezes me.
I crave your height, curse your cold.
I love you in the same breath I learn to hate you.

Row after row,
Day after day,
One more hop,
One more hope,
Through the wall,
Follow the rail.

On empty rails mine hopes do glide,
Where bonds be none and far paths bide;
The dawn doth gild the woeful sky,
To cloak the ache of days gone by.

In the forsaken garden’s sighing air,
Vines whisper loss in tangled prayer.
Is the house empty, love fled far away,
Or does winter’s hush, soft silver-gray,
Veil the little grass plot where warm lights stay?

Silence de la blancheur comme l'esprit noir de la solitude. Entouré de milliers de flocons, la chaleur de leur froide présence me rassure sur ma futilité.

Nothin' to add, nothin' to write.
Just go if you can.
My heart was like a mad-dog,
Each photo called a feeling.

And suddenly, hope.
Amid conflict, hunger, anger, and blind prejudice,
a tiny sign, four simple shapes, glows like a promise.
Perhaps eyes will open,
and hearts will follow

A bridge between worlds,
Nature’s breath in dry grasses,
Metal’s pulse in glass and steel.
Beneath the water, drowning,
Above, a distant sky calls.
To write, to wait,
To feel time slip by,
Where the past and future meet,
And nothing remains but the pause,
Before the end.
