Catch me moderating a panel at 3 p.m. Sept. 13 during the Printers Row Lit Fest.
I showed my daughter the Gangsta New Jack promo from Smoky Mountain Wrestling. “He’s angry…” Side note: I’ll take requests.
At least twice a year, I receive a text about the time I was on that true crime tv series, For My Man, haha. 😎🤣
Happy Father’s Day to the dads holding down their families and communities.
Love this frame. This is from a bygone era when music stores gave customers posters of their favorite artists.
My daughter’s team lost pretty bad today. After the 5th or 6th goal, the goalie from her team tackled a kid from the other team. Pretty wild scene. I was like:
Regarding Jackie Robinson Day, I hope that MLB and baseball fans understand the full meaning of what No.42 endured. A few seasons ago, I went to the White Sox’s version of the event: A team employee and three fans asked why I was wearing a Dodgers No. 42 jersey.
I’ve seen the film below. As someone who covered the particulars and has a daughter playing youth sports, I have a lot to say. Maybe a column? We’ll see.
Happy St.Patrick’s Day from the undisputed champion of TV series. The Wire
Being a retired bouncer/doorguy knowing I don’t have to work on St. Patrick’s Day never never ever ever again:
Booker T. Washington, a Hampton Alumnus, founded Tuskegee Institute. The other guy is a college dropout. We in the upside down, gang.
I briefly entertained the possibility of telling my daughter to chill a bit. Recent events are telling me to let her know to crank that shit up.
Last night, I spoke with Loyola University’s hockey team about the book and other hockey culture related topics.
Shout out to digife for allowing me to discuss some hockey for Black History Month some years ago.
When someone says, “This is not who we are” or “We’re better than this.”
Wild to see WGN interview an insurrectionist whom I stopped from entering a school a few months ago. I was like: You wanna do what? Nah, we good.
This show has the best example of an athlete explaining survivor’s remorse. Mans basically said my family treats me like a bank.
Happy 10th birthday to my lil one. Dad loves you very very much. Where did the time go?
