Alrighty, managed to get it up to over 300 games now! Probably gonna be taking a break from adding to this for a while now because I actually have some work to do lol
Sadly to keep it simple, I wanted to stick with just what's on the back covers, which for P2EP is "WELCOME BACK TO THE TWISTED WORLD OF PERSONA" It sucks cuz the P1 PSP one is pretty lame, but they had a trailer named "IT ALL BEGINS WITH A GAME CALLED PERSONA" which is literally perfect
Devil May Cry 2's tagline being "Cooler Than Hell" is a really funny accidental self own considering that Hell is usually depicted as being really really hot, so like it's not like it would take anything to be cooler than it
Super Mario Bros HD-2D remake @shigerumiyamoto.bsky.social my contact info is in my bio
Sorry if this come off as a bit hand-holdy, but I'd highly recommend you to, when you're able to, go to this spot on the map and get the GF at the end of that area (the circle not the hand) If you don't get it before the final dungeon you permanently miss out on one of my favorite scenes in the game
Finally Finished Paper Mario The Origami King after all of this time. I really enjoyed it! I'm really glad I've grown out of the "MODERN PAPER MARIO FUCKING SUCKS!" phase, and am able to just enjoy it as a really fun and creative game while having actually important stuff to worry about as an adult.
The main villain of Paper Mario Origami King being an allegory for old Paper Mario fans who vehemently despise the new games and want to reshape the world into an original creation that they deem fit to be "superior" is actually insane, how the hell was I never spoiled on this.
Me when I’m in an emergency situation so I need to go to press the secret button
If this game was released 20 years ago the translation would’ve changed his name to George or something
It probably also has to do with the first level of Godhand being wild west themed, but also like c'mon don't tell me these 2 don't look like siblings
God Hand and Red Dead Revolver have like, the exact same vibe to me for some reason. Like it goes beyond being PS2 games that were started by Capcom, something about these games just feels spiritually linked for me, they give off the exact same aura
This is literally happening in the middle of the feudal Japan themed area, I literally just cannot escape it this summer
Gotta say a PBGGameplay revival was absolutely NOT on my bingo card this year lmao, been really chill watching more of these as someone who loved his old let's plays back in the day
