Vale sits on the edge of the left booth seat, one leg stretched out toward the viewer, his sword rests on its point, has right hand holding it up, it's taller than he is, sitting. He has light skin, purple eyes that look away toward the left and the floor, long blue hair pulled back in a half ponytail and a close cut beard. He has a long blue coat, over a blue vest and white shirt with a collar, a strap is around his left upper thigh and knee high boots. Tassera sits on the table to our right, turned toward the right slightly, legs crossed, she holds a dagger in her left hand, cradling the point in her right. She has medium skin, green eyes and wavy purple hair with a slight smirk on her face. She wears a bodice style top in dark purples with straps and thigh high boots. They are both back lit in yellow light from the windows.

Vale, a man with elf ears in a leather jacket and a large sword on his back stands on a foggy tudor style street in the dark, slightly lit by a street lamp asking 'how did we get here?' Tassera, a woman with tan skin, with wavy purple hair in a messy ponytail faces Vale with her arms folded and replies 'I don't know about you but I walked, rode some horses, the aforementioned ship.' Vale interjects at the end of her sentence with 'you know what I meant'. He gestures helplessly with his hands as he continues to speak 'will you tell me what happened? was it an accident?' Tass looks away from him as she asks 'would you believe that' to which he responds 'not after you disappear' dropping his arms by his side. Tass finally looks back to him and says 'I made a decision.'

Next to her on the right is Vale a man with light skin, elf ears and long dark straight hair, he has a large sword on his back, a white shirt with a collar opened over the chest and a long coat with the collar pulled up. Tass rests her hand on his shoulder as she says "I could say the same for you". Vale looked unamused and a maybe a little sad as Tass moves away up the stairs to the bar, he says "I'm not the one who committed a crime. Several likely." Tass pauses, arms folder, looking over her shoulder, "Allegedly. You have my alibi." She turns, resting her chin in her hand as she tilts her head to regard him. Vale snaps back, "And it's shit, you can do better."

A comic page in five panels

Two men, clearly one related, one older one younger. The older man is heavier set, we see him from the shoulders up, resting his hands on a cane as he sits in a chair, his face turned toward the viewer with a scowl. He has light skin, a receding hairline of straight blond hair a well kept blond beard, a royal blue jacket with gold accents over a cream collared shirt. His son stands behind him, arms folded, straight slicked back blond hair, a similar blue suit arms folded. The older man named Iorvin says That's the best you've got? 'I'm working as fast as I can'?

Vale, an elf man with light skin, purple eyes, a light layer of stubble and dark blue hair pulled back in a half ponytail gives a small nod looking trying not to look annoyed and says yes.

Iorvin's son Oleran moves to stands in front of Vale. Vale stands almost a head taller than him. Oleran points at Vale and says clearly you have time to stand around and chat. Vale replies I didn't call this meeting.

Iovrin gets up, hands still resting on his cane. Guard Captain Halcyn, a tan heavy set man in a blue military dress esque suit an dark hair sits with his arms folded at a desk. Behind Halcyn is the High Lord Glarion, a tan skinned man with short dark hair in a gold and red suit leaning against a counter with his arms folded. Iorvin says that relic is an important family heirloom and could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

Vale looks slightly incredulous as he says dangerous? I'd hate to think you had a magical relic that went unreported to the DC&C
