Brussels to Legoland in Denmark and the German coast (and back) - only by train and bike! The only “car” we used was electric. 🚂🚲 Conclusion: it is very well possible but European Sleeper and DSB will test your patience 😉

Got myself a nice little cabin on the ferry and made it to Dublin (nearly) on the same day.
Next leg to Chester was also smooth , then the trouble started: person hit by train, line closed, replacement bus, missed ferry. Now I am waiting for the late ferry to still get to Dublin.

Mit dem neuen Fahrplan ab Dezember 2025 bietet die DB u.a. auch neue/zusätzliche Verbindungen nach Belgien an! 🚂
The best - in terms of changes/travel time would probably be this one. Yet, I would not expect it to be cheap, but depends on when you book.
Dieser Zug ist doch reservierungspflichtig, oder? Wie alle Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge nach/von Frankreich. Davon abgesehen funktioniert eine Reservierungspflicht in Deutschland bei so vielen Umsteigeverbindungen nicht, wie @sebwilken.net und @jonworth.eu hier schon mehrfach ausgeführt haben.
