I never imagined seeing this one day. GitHub now shows 100K+ public repositories using @valibot.dev. I'm not sure how precise that number is, but it's a huge milestone either way.
@formisch.dev is now available for 8 frameworks. It uses no runtime adapter and incurs no abstraction tax. You can expect great DX, native performance, and a small bundle size. ⚡️
The @formisch.dev docs are now agent optimized too. Please send your agent over and let him write some forms! 🧱
We improved the @valibot.dev docs for coding agents. Expect that generating Valibot schemas will get even better going forward. We also implemented a MCP server that you can give to your agent.
Hey folks 👋 Quick reintroduction for anyone who is new here: I am Fabian, a German who traded Baden-Württemberg for Brooklyn. For the last few years I have been building a small, but important foundation that quietly runs under a lot of TypeScript apps: schema validation and form state.
Valibot surpassed Yup in weekly downloads. I am curious to see how long it will take to surpass Joi.
After our partnership with @vercel.com ended a few months ago, I was curious to try out other solutions. Currently, Valibot and Formisch are running on @cloudflare.social. Thank you Vercel and Cloudflare for hosting our docs!

Formisch + shadcn/ui, end to end 1️⃣ Define your Valibot schema 2️⃣ Spread field.props onto <Input> 3️⃣ map field.errors into <FieldError> Valibot validates. shadcn/ui renders. Formisch wires them together. Example:
Valibot crossing yup in weekly downloads soon. Milestones like this are easy to misread. Yup didn't lose. It won so hard that schema validation became table stakes, and a modular successor was even possible. The whole field owes them. Just trying to add the next chapter. 🧩
Happy to see more and more devs are taking a look at @formisch.dev. Starting a new open source project and grow it organically isn’t easy. Thank you for 750 stars! I will start working on our v1 release soon.
The number of npm downloads of Valibot has grown significantly recently. Great to see that! I plan to roll out various TypeScript and runtime performance improvements with @valibot.dev v1.4.

Big week: we officially moved into our new NY office 🗽 Now the fun part begins. I'm starting to build our engineering team from the ground up, and we're looking for talented software engineers who get excited about hard problems, tight loops, and shipping real things fast.
This chart is insane 🤯 @valibot.dev's toJsonSchema package went from ~20k/week to over 1M/week since January. That's not linear growth. That's "something big quietly adopted us" growth.
What a ride! San Francisco was intense — but incredibly productive. We’re back in 🗽 New York and moving into our first office next week. At 2,500 sq ft, we’ve got room to spare — so we’re thinking about hosting open-source and AI meetups. Stay tuned. ⚡️
