she did make a very weak one a month ago but seems to have torn it down. heres my peanut pics today
camera doesn't pick it up well but peanut is making a new web hammock. i was so worried when she didnt make any webs for months when i destroyed her last web on accident. i felt like i traumatized a spider and broke her heart
this is the most relaxed ive seen my baby tarantula since i got her. she was often standing on her tip toes or hugging the wall. now that she has enough substrate to seal herself away she seems calmer. i didnt know that would feel so rewarding 🥹

rehoused my tarantula for the first time. trembled so much and she was so good the whole time. its Huge but my idea is she will grow into it. i hope its not too much substrate and not Too Big.

fuck my life theyre kicking me in the teeth i wake up and im thinking about this paragraph. i got stunlocked on this chapter i read it over and over again. id finish a paragraph and reread the paragraph. id finish the chapter and reread the chapter. im SUCKING on it.
yes the first half is kind of a slog in some parts i didnt get where it was going. i didnt like the part where genly meanders about. but even when the plot meanders im randomly caught off guard by what feels like poetry. idk what i can say about this all just read the book.
this is kinda how i feel about much of the xeno series at this point like if someone starts spamming you with en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnostic... you know theres nothing else going on. i think most of the people doing this only visit that wiki page when its time to talk about video games.
i forget how much info you get from brief exchanges in xenoblade 1 like this. it washes over like water and I don't even notice its there. so efficient. when the storytelling is competent you dont notice it's happening
